We have already had some excellent reviews for Jack Butler’s Firefish: The Collected Poems on the book’s page. Now with a magnificent review and overview of Jack’s writing by Philip Martin, that was published in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, we have created a page for the book’s reviews.
We’ve added excerpts from Martin’s in-depth review, which also includes his incisive commentary on Butler’s great novels Jujitsu for Christ and Living in Little Rock With Miss Little Rock. And kind words of praise for Mud Flat Press, thank you, Philip Martin. There is a link there to the whole piece and we hope you will read it.
Also to be found on the review page is what might be called the pithiest review ever (as a comment) by the poet Larry Johnson.
We hope you will peruse the reviews, and post comments and questions, or send us a review to add.
